A recent headline in the Official Trackmania Site stated that TM will be going portable with its new contract with Nintendo®. Trackmania will soon be available for release on DS® and possibly other portable consoles.

New Templates & Language functions are ready to go!

I've been working in the background for quite a while to establish some new stuff.

1. All pages are now a mixture of Inline frames, javascript and PHP to ensure faster loading times and less traffic on the server. Please be sure to have cookies & javascript enabled.

We will now focus on updating all tutorial pages to the new layout and to make sure that the content is ready for "TM Forever!".
If you 've written a tutorial, please check it to ensure it meets the new requirements of "Forever"!

2. Below every single page, you will find a row of little graphics,representing social bookmarking sites. You can click these buttons to add the current page to your social bookmarks.

3. I've decided to cut down the language translations to 6 MAJOR languages .. English, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese and Turkish. This should be a solid base to work on and keep focused.
As soon as we stand on solid ground, we can think about adding another language to our repertoire.

4. You can chose a preferred language now by clicking one of the flags in the upper left menu. This preference is stored in a cookie and whenever a tutorial or page is available in your language, it will be shown automatically, otherwise the english default page will show.

5. A tutorial page will now automatically recognise if a tutorial is available in a particular language and show a little flag in the upper right corner of the tutorial, otherwise the flag will be greyed out. Implementing translations will be much easier from now on. Take THIS as an example for the new functionality.

That should be all for now.
Just be sure that I'm still working on the "Specials" section a lot.
