Hey Everyone,
I'm running into an issue with the audio levels of my sound files for challenge music for my tracks when I pick a song for it to play on the track.

I am using foobar2000 to convert the mp3 or wav or wma file to an ogg file.

I have the ogg conversion set at 500kbps, q10.0.

I than place the file in my ChallengeMusics folder as an ogg file.

I also tried importing the sound files with TMN-F's Custom Data/Convert Music ability which turns it into a .mux file.

The end result is that all the sound files that I import are whisper quiet.

Any way to address this?
either
a) use the ReplayGainProcessing in foobar
or
b) use the normalisation processing in audacity before converting to ogg

Okay I used the RGP option in foobar previously I set the processing option to apply gain and prevent clipping according to peak which should in all theory prevent distortion of the audio file due to peaking while applying gain to increase the decible level of the audio file.

I also opened the audio file prior to conversion in Audacity but the decible levels appear to be normal and the sound quality is cd quality. I click on normalize and it actually reduces the decible level moderately but not so much that is inaudible like it is in the game.

Is there a step that I'm missing or should is there an adjustment to be made in either Audacity or FooBar that I'm not aware of?
send me the ogg file, ill check it

Tried to send the file and received the following error:
The type of file that you attached is not allowed. Please remove the attachment or choose a different type.

Sorry for the delay was trying a few other things out myself also. Had little to no luck trying to get it to sound decent.
