How to make my own car model? Hmm
I know, you'll say there's a lot of tutorials on TMC and on Carpark.
And I read almost them all. Smile
I know how to name objects, I know what should be maximum size of model and I know how to convert it from 3ds to Gbx.
But there is a problem. Sad
When i made it all, and added textures, i "throw" it into zip.
And when i launch my game, and try to choose my new car, i see normal car, depended on environment.
I can see ONLY that normal car with my texture.
How to make MY OWN car working properly in TrackMania? Puppyeyes
If somebody knows Zanoza Modeler 1.0, please help.
If somebody doesn't know this program, please help, too.

Try to choose...?
So were you able to pick it, or not?
In other words, do you see your car in the list, or is it simply not there?

If it is in the list, recheck if you have both Mainbody.Solid.Gbx and MainbodyHigh.Solid.Gbx, and check for upper/lower case letters in the filenames; maybe it matters.
Also I wouldn't be surprise if a skin/texture was necessary, and without it the game would default to the standard car model.
I checked everything!
Even this what you are talking about.
Car IS in the list, but doesn't work properly!
in terms of 3d modelling, carpark is the no1 adress to help you
yes but it didn't help me ;(
Check my tutorial. I have just updated it with a an example .3ds file for download.

I'm not sure if Zmodeller does proper 3ds file exporting(without paying for it). There aren't many programs out there that will export to a .3ds file and it works for TMF. Of course 3D Max is one. After exporting with your 3D program (using my example file) you should get file size of 390Kb. After using the game importer to convert it, the .gbx file should be 321Kb.
Check the file sizes that you have.

This may just be a matter of (free) economics.Sorry
hey trick, can't you make some nice cubes with T,M,C on them as cars Smile ?

I might be able to create anything, but I'm not very creative.
I need a better idea of what you envision. Try to make me a sketch of one side, the top and front of what you're thinking.
Basically, i need the 'blueprints' or conceptual art to work from.
I've done a complete model from 5 pics that i found on the web.
Just a simple drawing to get me started, details can be worked on later.
like the cubes in the logo at the top of the site here
