great tut, i'v learned some new stuff today like the emo avatars
wow, gg TStar, very useful

Nice polishing TStar. It came out great. I'm sure people will find it useful.
I just spent quite a lot of time on making an avatar, animated and with happy/sad versions...
But I can't for the life of me figure out how to properly compress it in RAD Video Tools. Even with the same values as in the screenshot, these tiny .gif animations (64x64px, ~15-6kb) just don't properly translate to .bik files. The animation always ends up totally broken, with only two (or even less) of the four frames showing in the animation.
Here's one of the files, just to check if maybe the gif itself is too big/long/whatever...

Is ingame Avatar importer in the Launcher?
Hi all,
I have an addition to the tutorial (
http://tutorials.tm-creative.org/userapp...rs/#part5) concerning the alpha channel settings in paragraph 5.
Quote:Then I make sure the only channel I am editing is this new channel (Alpha 1) and delete my selection it will look like the picture on the right...
Actually, it won't always work to delete the selection; it has to be coloured in white, while 100% will be 100% transparency, 75% white accodingly 75% transparency and so on. That is interesting because so you can create half-transparent areas, for example.

Change this setting in bink to compress to under 50kb,s as thats what the avatar must be under 45000 should do the trick should not need to change anything else.
As shown in this image.
