Thanks for the response TStarGermany. I have also done sign and sticker and other skin tutorials with an emphasis on freely available programs. You see, not everyone can afford Photoshop like I can.

Geez. I'm so sorry. I had a brain fart.
I use .gif files to make animated avatars and then Bink them to make the .bik file. I don't know of any utilities that enable one to create video in directly in bink format. As for transparency I meant to say .tga(targa) files are great for quick and easy transparency. So I think that the explanation list should include:
.jpg, .gif, .tga, .dds, .bik and touch on .avi since the game creates it.

I have 2 big tutorials about driving and coppers for TMU

If necessary I can write a tutorial on Sunday about painting the stadiumcar skin in Photoshop.. This will include a file with all parts in different folders.. So its easy editing.. Let me know, and I'll post it here on Sunday.
